Peter Jackson made an adorably meta video of Hobbit cast members reacting to a fan reaction video.

Two Tolkien fans filmed themselves watching the new trailer for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug and posted it to their “Happy Hobbits” webseries.

Sisters Kelli and Alex were pretty excited and enthusiastic about what they saw in the trailer.

Somehow, The Hobbit director Peter Jackson caught wind of the video and posted it to his Facebook page.

Then, a few hours later, Jackson returned to his Facebook page and posted a video of Hobbit cast members in full Elven costume watching the fan reaction video.
