DIY Colorflash

Colored decoration foil for windows is perfect for a DIY colorflash. Cut the foil to size, remove the backing paper and stick it to the flash of your choice. Can be removed/changed/reused any time without leaving traces on the flash. If you need stronger colors, just add more layers of the same or another color.

DIY wedding invitations

Tonight I ventured out into being crafty, which really isn’t a “thing” I do. Our wedding is relatively small, with just close family members – around 35 people total – but I decided it would be cute to send out DIY invites anyways. I bought square envelopes, petal cards and flat circle cards at Staples. The total came out to around – I bought way more than I needed, but I plan on sending some to good friends as keepsakes!
As you can see, I bought red and white. I alternated the colors – white envelope, red petal card, white circle card; red envelope, white petal card, red circle card. Our wedding ‘colors’ are officially red and white. Accenting the red detail lines on my Fiance’s Marine Corps dress blue uniform. My “bouquet” will be red flowers, and I plan on getting red shoes to go with my white 1950s style dress.
Enough rambling. I almost tore my hair out making these, as our printer was being stupid, but I am sooooooooo happy with how they came out!! Go me! High five.
(This is obviously a fake one ;P)
